2/11/2021 0 Comments Love Is In The Air... We all know that Valentine's Day is just around the corner but here at KAMM we are concentrating on Galentine's Day on February 13th! If you're anything like us, you'll be missing coffee dates, brunches that go on all day and dancing the night away with your girls (and boys!) and so we've came up with a few ideas of how to celebrate with your favourite people during lockdown. Meet Up For A Winter WalkIf you've got a friend who lives close enough, arrange to meet up, grab your travel mugs of coffee (or wine - we don't judge) and get out for a power walk and catch up. Ranting to your bestie AND getting in your daily step count at the same time? Genius. Send A GiftIt's been a tough time for so many lately and what better way to cheer someone up and let them know you're thinking about them than with an unexpected gift or card. There's literally hundreds of local businesses who have pivoted to offer local delivery of cakes, flowers, letterbox gifts and more so do a little research and find out what's in your area. TOP TIP: If you'd like to do something but you've left it a bit last minute - my mum sent me unexpected coffee and cake through JustEat in the first lockdown and I was absolutely delighted for about three days - it doesn't need to break the bank but a little gesture can go a long way to making someone's day. Get Together Via Video CallI know we are all a bit sick of Zoom now, right? But remember the fun you had when it was all new last year and you were half cut in your pyjamas trying to remember the capital of Australia to win the quiz (It's Canberra, FYI)? Organise a get together with your gals and make it themed to make it even more special. Afternoon teas, cocktail parties, cook-a-longs, spa parties...the list goes on and all can be done from the comfort of your living room - pyjamas are optional. We've included some links to some Galentine's cocktail recipes below to get you started!
